General Information

In February of 1967, the Jinno Institute was founded specifically for the purpose of creating and educating specialists in the Automobile, Aerospace and Medical fields. Our motto is “We take pride in building great people, not just great technicians.”
The Jinno Institute has the following 3 schools of learning:

Gifu University of Medical Science (GUMS) was established in 2006 and was formerly known as Gifu College of Medical Technology (GCMT, established in 1983). GUMS is a 4-year university which offers majors in Medical Technology, Radiology, Nursing and Midwife in order to provide the health field with highly trained and qualified medical technologists.

Nakanihon Automotive College (NAC) was established in 1967 and has a steady history of providing students with opportunities to study the latest in Automobile Technology. NAC has been accredited by the Japanese Government (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) as an officially recognized mechanics training institute.

College of Naka-nippon Aviation (CNA) was founded in 1970 for the purpose of producing highly qualified aviation mechanics to serve in the aerospace industry.
CNA has been accredited by the Japanese Government (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) as an institution which grants national licenses for airplane and helicopter mechanics upon graduation.

The Jinno Institute also finds its great value in international exchange activities.

GUMS has a short-term overseas medical program with Kapiolani Community College in Hawaii. NAC has established a highly successful student exchange program with IPSIA A.Ferrari in Italy while CNA has a strong sister school relationship with　South Seattle College in the United States, and Korea Aviation Polytechnic College in Korea. Recently, we started a new overseas English program with Enderun Colleges in Philippines in which students from 3 schools can join and interact with each other.

Our network reaches around the globe including our Shanghai office established in 2000 and Hanoi office set in 2014. We also have ties with institution from the United States, Italy, China, Korea, Thailand,Vietnam, Malaysia and so on.
We always welcome communication with colleges and universities around the globe　and always ready to open its doors to new exchange programs.
